stream Kids

​            Stream kids is our group ages 6 - 11. This is one of the most important group because these ages, you really soak things up like a sponge. One of the most important things Jesus said was, “Go and make disciples of all people in the world” (Matthew 28:19). Then He goes on to say, “Teach them to OBEY everything that I have told you to do” (Matthew 28:20).
            At Rocky River Church, our main goal is to equip our students with the Word of God. We want to make disciples that make disciples. Unfortunately, we don’t see this happening in the church today. It has become mostly about being comfortable and being entertained. If you remember correctly, Jesus called us to pick up our cross, not to relax in the pew (Matthew 16:24).
            We want our students to reach their full potential in Christ, and we will do that by following His lead! We will teach them the Word of God, how to apply it to their life, and how to reach their community for Christ – but first, we will teach them how to be disciples that follow Christ. We don’t want them to only profess Christ, we want students that possess Him! The key to doing this is found in the two previous passages of Scripture listed above. We will go together, and we will OBEY the Lord!
            So what makes us different at Rocky River? Our goal is to break free from the tradition of complacency in the church. We believe that if we do this, we will see an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the lives of our students, the community, and ourselves.
